Executive Summary:

Crooked Killer is a first person arcade shooter where the player has a crooked neck after being killed by thugs but then resurrected by a demon to take out his revenge. Because of this, the first person view is at an 80 degree angle, while many of the player's inputs aren’t the standard inputs for first person games. The player's movement inputs (RDG) are limited to forward, left and right making it difficult for the player to get around the enemies and shoot them. The player will have to fight off a large amount of enemies that continuously grows within a small alleyway street where he was originally murdered. Various types of enemy thugs will attempt to kill the player by punching at him. The player will be equipped with a pistol that holds 20 bullets per mag (infinite ammo) that also has health that constantly decreases and will deplete in 30 seconds (due to his blood loss from his broken neck). The player must kill as many thugs as they can for them to potentially drop blood bags that will increase the player's health by 50%. The aim of the game is for the player to survive as long as possible while getting a high kill count which is tracked throughout each playthrough.

Intended Audience:

Individuals who are 18 years or older that enjoy killing thugs after returning to life by a demon. The game focuses on movement and look around challenges, while also shows many opportunities of first person shooter action with plenty of blood and gore. Players who enjoy playing a shooter arcade game would also enjoy this game.

Who is the player?

The player is an innocent man that was being robbed and had his neck snapped. He returns to life possessed by a demon in the alleyway where he died and is tasked with killing as many thugs that attack him in one sitting.

Where is the player located?

The player will be located in a city street alleyway where he was killed by random thugs by ressurected through a demon possessing him. This will be explained through an opening cutscene.

Why is the player in this place?

The player is in the place because he was unfortunately murdered while he was being robbed through having his neck broken. He stays in the area as it’s where he died but is able to kill thugs in the vicinity after he is possessed.

What is the player trying to achieve?

The player is trying to achieve the highest amount of kills without dying as every hit decreases your blood by a certain amount since he is already incredibly weak from having his neck snapped. The player's health will also constantly be decreasing and will deplete within 30 seconds if he doesn’t pick up blood bags which restore his 50% of his health. This calls for replay-ability as the player must constantly try again and again to achieve higher scores because of the game's difficulty.
